Couples of “He’s Just Not That into You” from the cutest to the not so cute

This movie has easily got to be one of our absolute favourites which got us thinking “Hey why don’t we blog about this!”. So ta da here it is our thoughts on all the couples from the movie as we rate them, starting with the cutest to the more blech ones.

We’re going with our usual colour code here Blue for Rumana and Purple for Khila 🙂

1.Beth Murphy and Neil Jones (Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck)

6505535_stdOkay this couple have like the cutest story ever! I think Neil is an amazing guy especially when he’s on his boat and tells his friend that the only woman he wants to be with is Beth, I literally awww’d so much I ran out of awww’s. They show that what you feel for one another is what’s most important in a relationship and you can’t let society’s expectations rule your life.

Neil is so cute. Especially when he goes to help Beth when her dad gets sick and her brother-in-laws just sit in front of the TV, doing nothing. He came to the rescue, even though she dumped him for not wanting to get married. However, like all chick flicks this one gets a bit unrealistic at the end when Neil goes against his principles (which is his disbelief in the institution of marriage) and gets married anyway. But the way he proposes was too cute.

2.Gigi Phillips and Alex (Ginnifer Goodwin and Justin Long)

It’s cute how they started off as friends and he didn’t even realise he was in love with her till she screamed at him. I love their conversation at the end when they’re finally getting together and he goes “You’re my exception” I died from cuteness overload! Their story shows that you can either look for love around every corner or you can completely not give a shit but it will find you.

You don’t find love, it finds you. Or something. Gigi gives hope to all the single women who want a relationship. I also found Alex’s knowledge about relationships very cool since he works in a bar, which has given him a lot of insight. If you wanna understand human social behaviour, just go to a bar everyday!

3.Mary Harris and Conor Barry (Drew Barrymore and Kevin Connolly)

He's Just Not That Into You

I know this couple didn’t get much screen time but that doesn’t make them any less adorable! He really deserves a nice girl after being unashamedly used and she really deserves an actual real life guy, so really they’re perfect for each other.

Mary’s story was a lesson to everyone who uses cyberspace for prospective romantic partners. Don’t use it, it can be deceiving. Go out there 😀 And Conor and Mary were both nice, single people. So yes, cute couple.

4.Anna Marks and Conor Barry (Scarlett Johansson and Kevin Connolly)

He's Just Not That Into You

This relationship was just pathetic. He was totally into her and she was totally using him.

DON’T USE NICE GUYS 😦 Not cute couple, he’s in to her, and she’s just not that into him.

5.Janine Gunders and Ben Gunders (Jennifer Connelly and Bradley Cooper)

He's Just Not That Into You

Another pathetic relationship. Most of the time they were arguing about his smoking and later his cheating. They didn’t even get married for the right reasons and Ben is a complete loser. Good thing she divorced him, I saw no love between the two of them.

^I second that, completely. He was such a good liar about not smoking, I almost fell for it!

6.Anna Marks and Ben Gunders (Scarlett Johansson and Bradley Cooper)

Hes-Just-Not-That Into You 2

Super pathetic relationship. She knows he’s married yet still goes for it only to find out that he’s a class A jerk. Honestly these two were my least favourite characters in the entire movie. They just pissed me off. On a completely different note Bradley Cooper is hot! 😉

Cheating is not cool whatsoever, never works out.

Rumana & Khila
